Category Meta Description
Hello! I am using Vantage and my categories are actually cities. For each category I need the title to be descriptive (more than what is entered in the category title field) as that needs to be easy to read in the menu and the category description needs to be descriptive to get found in search engines so a good meta description. Any guidance on how I can accomplish this?
I have tried setting the All-In-One
SEO Yoast Category Title Format to %category_description% and that did give a better category title for
SEO but then I do not want to use that same description for the meta description for the category - I want more detail.
It is important for the category to have both a good category title and meta description on the categories to get indexed by the search engines as this is a big part of my site. I hope this is not too confusing. Is there a way to accomplish this with the directory theme or something that I am overlooking? Thanks so much.
