    Child theme not showing up on front end of site.

    when I activate the directory child theme it works fine in the admin panel but does not show up on the front end of my site. I get this text instead:

    Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_blog_page_title() in /home/content/p3pnexwpnas05_data01/67/2323367/html/wp-content/themes/directory/home.php on line 7

    How can I fix this?
