Featured Listings slider - Directory theme -= Hard Crop images

Hi Spartac,

Is there a CSS change we can make to the Featured slider that would make a Hard Crop of images?

I am having issues with the different image proportions on the site and have to accommodate the fact that customers uploading images may not understand the need to manually crop their image before uploading. So to avoid the images in the slider from being distorted due to variety of image uploads, a hard crop of the featured images may be the best solution. What do you think? Is this possible?

PS I mean the display int eh featured Image slider only....elsewhere I can accommodate the issue
