Just purchased directory theme and have some configuration questions

Hello,

I have vantage 1.3.2 installed and purchased the directory theme. The demo looks great but I have some issues with configuration.

1. How do I enable the footer and sidebar on the homepage? They are available on internal pages and listing pages but not on the homepage. I set "Home" as the static home page. I created a new custom page and made that the static homepage but then the listing tabs don't appear.

2. Should the style.css file for the Directory theme be empty under Appearance > Editor ??

3. With the directory theme, do the widgets in the widget section still work? Or only for the vantage theme?
