    widget and footer config trouble also

    Hi,

    Following on from previous post.

    Mine is a fresh wordpress install with no added plugins. Homepage missing map, sidebar widgets do not appear or footer. I have checked static page to home and all appears in order. Also the weather widget, i have looked on yahoo for rss feed but cannot find it. I have not used one before so i may be overlooking it. The calendar widget which does appear on blog page is pretty ugly, can this be changed or maybe a plugin suggested?
