EVA doesn't obey language files - why?
Hi,
I've seen several threads about Eva not reading the jobroller .po/.pot files, and I can't see a solution to this other than a suggestion to add a plugin called Codestyling Localization....but my question is why should I have to install a plugin? Why doesn't the Eva child theme obey the po/mo setup?
I've already been through the .pot file and created my translations. Then I added the Eva theme to my Jobroller site...and now it seems I have to start again and translate all over again? That doesn't seem right to me...
Also, I try as a rule to install as few plugins as possible. I can't understand why I should have to install a plugin to do my translations - why can't Eva work the way all other themes work?
Sorry to sound a bit grumpy about this, but I really would prefer the correct *Wordpress best-practice*, .po/.mo way of doing things....any help on that?
I posted this a few days ago on the end of an old thread, but got no response from the theme author, so I'm reposting in the hope of a reply!
Thanks,
