Approve registration

In using classipress, it is set up to approve ads before posting. Is there a way to approve registrations prior to posting?

i.e.
1. Is there a way to automatically do this (or easily do this) within classipress?
2. Would it work better to use WP registration page rather than classipress registration page?
3. Or, do I have to resort to a plugin - and if so, any suggestions?
