Child Theme and index-directory.php

Hi, I purchased ClassiPress today and am very happy with it so far.

I have quite a few mods to make however and decided that using a child theme would be the way to go.

I have set up a child theme which work fine for my edited header.php and footer.php files.

I haven't tried any other files apart from index-directory.php which won't show any changes when edited.

I copied all three index files into my child them.

What am I doing wrong?
