ClassiPress setup tutorials not helpful

I purchased ClassiPress today and I am extremely frustrated. First, the product looks nothing like was advertised prior to purchase. There are no sample pages or dummy data that I can follow to setup the system. There is no starting navigation (home, about, etc.) to get a lay of the land. I've tried working through the "tutorials" you provide and even following those I can't get the template to do or display anything. I've been at it for 6 solid hours. It came with two files: ClassiPress 3.5.7 and ClassiPress dev. Following advice from the forum I've reinstalled the theme twice and the outcome is the same. I am not able to change or customize anything but the header and the color. I add categories and they do not display. I even looked up a ClassiPress tutorial on YouTube and the product on YouTube looks very different from the product from AppThemes. So different that I could not follow screen for screen.

I'm not a deep techie but I've used other WP-like themes and had the websites deployed online in half a day!

Here's what I need. Either I need a solid tutorial on how to set this up step-by-step or I need someone to tell me how to get my money back and I'll buy ClassifiedEngine. I don't want to spend another day spinning my wheels on this product. Please advise.
