Classipress theme does not load. Blank white screen during preview.

I recently installed LAMP on Ubuntu 11.04, however when i attempt to apply the classipress theme (v3.15) it breaks word press. At first i thought it might have been a configuration on my end or something that i was missing in the installation process, however wordpress seems to working correctly. I also downloaded several free wordpress themes on-line and they loaded properly. My goal is to have a local server up and running with the classipress theme installed so that i can easily make edits and customization before moving to a hosted solution. Any Suggestions would be helpful, once again this is not an upgrade, its a fresh install of the latests version.
Currently the 3.15 classipress theme does not load, nor does it preview correctly, i get a blank white screen when i attempt to preview Just wondering if I'm missing something simple.
Attached are two screen shots. One shows the blank screen that i receive when previewing the theme, the other shows the theme as a option to activate.
