ClassiPress & Vantage Questions

Hey team,

I currently own Classipress, but am looking at purchasing Vantage directory theme as well.

The reason being is I'm looking at adding venue listing and upcoming events into my Classified site.

The site is a trading site for an action sport and there are multiple venues around the country. I would like to have an area on my site for displaying a map with points where these sport venues are. Typically these venues run games every weekend.
I also like the ability to add events - as a lot of these venues also run one off or specialised events through out the year on top of their weekly games.

Now my question is:

Can I integrate Vantage with my existing Classipress site? Or should I be looking for a generic WordPress plugin that works with ClassiPress?
I don't mind having the Vantage theme installed on a subdomain - I have read how to share users across 2 WordPress installs on the same server.
I can also no doubt setup the theme to match my existing theme for my ClassiPress site.

However things like the side bar content - latest posts, ad listings etc can I display these on my Vantage site?

What is the best way to completing this proposal.

If any one else other than the moderators here knows the answers please chip in, I'd appreciate it.
