Featured Listings Empties Each Time I Delete SPAM Ads

Hi Guys
My Featured Ads Seem To Show Fine. Then when some spammer places 5 or 6 or 7 or so adds and i remove most of them. By the way thier ads are not featured. It makes my featured ads slider go blank. Its there, but it has no adds in it.

I checked my featured ads and they are all still ticked as featured / sticky

My Show featured ads is still switched on
I have not made theme mods
I am not running any new plugins
But about 5 times in the last few days i have had to delete spam ads that where not in the featured slider. But whenever i do so it makes my slider go blank.
