how do I create membership pages

Hi all,

I've bought classipress to set up a swapping community, but I want people to become paying members of the site to recieve goods. I don't want people to pay per advert - just a one off annual membership to add and recieve as much as they like from the site.

I want non members to be able to look at what is available to swap and read details on it before they are members (to motivate them to become a member).

How can I do this? Does classipress enable this? Do I need a plug in or some kind of adaptation? All help very much appreciated!
