Moving working classipress site

I want to move my site to another domain name, by copying a duplicate of it accross (just to be safe). My site already has existing ads on it which have been shared to facebook. I then plan to point the old domain to the new domain to cover myself but I was wondering if the posts on facebook which link to the old site will be broken? or will they all point to the same ads under the new domain?

or will there be other problems I havent considered?
