Multiple image upload problem

I'm trying to upload 8 images that are under 2MB each

After a few minutes instead of going onto the last page to confirm the ad it goes back to the beginning, i.e. select category.

I dropped the number of images to 4 and it worked ok. Increased to 6 and it failed.

My phpinfo file says max file size is 64MB and max number of files is 20

Any ideas?
