Permalinks and Ad Category Slug
In 2010 I had my site up and running then with injury due to car wreck and other things my site was shut down and didn't even know it. I am having to start over now and the permalinks are not working the way they used to and I am trying to figure this out.
Right now if I post an ad it will look like this:
www.boston.com/ads/(title of the post)
In the past it would be
www.boston.com/dallas-boats-for-sale. It would use the slug on the ad categories.
I know you can go to classipress settings >advanced > custom post type and taxonomy and possibly change that as well as where permalinks are but I could not get it to work. My current permalinks is /%postname%. I have tried /%category%/%postname%/ and it did not work.
What am I doing wrong or how can it get it to show the slug of ad categories.
And I have no problem if it reads
www.boston.com/ads/slug, but for
seo it would be nice to maybe have the slug and the ad title if possible.
