problem with main page listing

Hi guys, I,m trying to restore an older theme that I used previously and unfortunaly, I modified the Classipress theme instead of using a child theme. I works but this is a nightmare to update! I can't provide the link as the theme in not functional and the site is live.

Anyway, when using this classipress modified theme, the main page show no listings. I only get a blank page with "Ad Listings", nothing else. If I search or use categories, I see the ads.

Any thoughts?
