Problem with refining mobile search

In use on mobile, refine search works normally, but the options that have been expanded to select, remain expanded after the search and this deceives the user, he thinks that there was no search and he may want to repeat the search again. The results appear far below, so you cannot see the result immediately because of the space occupied with the options still expanded. Is there anything that can be done to make the options shrink after the search?
