Pruned (expired) Ad drafts and unnattatched images
Hello, I recently acquired an established site that is using the ClassiPress theme. Even thought the theme license was included in the sale I still had to purchase a new license to gain access to these support forums.
I am very happy that the theme support seems strong and active.
My question is regarding what happens to pruned ads. I have my expired ads set to prune after 60 days. It is my understanding that pruned ads return to draft, so the user can repost if they so decide. My question is if the system automatically deletes the draft after a set amount of time (or if you are able to set a time for this), to help reserve disk space? I am wondering because I have so many unattached images and upon inspection (logging into old user accounts that posted ads years ago) I did not see drafts still available for these really old expired ads. Leading me to believe I am fine to go ahead and delete the majority of the tens of thousands of unnatched images that are eating up several GBs of disk space on my server. Am I right?
Secondary question. Has anyone using classipress used the Imsanity or a similar plugin to help optimize images? Since alot of images are submitted via smart phones they tend to be very large and take up alot of space.
