Styling a Classipress Child Theme problem

Hi, I've made a child theme of Classipress in order to make some changes in the CSS style.
Well, when i try to change the header background, nothing happens. Showing the code with Firebug I can see that the CSS class of the main theme is prevailing at the modified class in the child theme. Can you help me about what happens?

I've made the child theme and applied in the Wordpress without problems.
