Unwanted registrations and adverts
I recently launched my website
www.toolme.co.uk as a notice board for used craft tools.
I am getting inundated with phoney registrations, usually using a yahoo.com email address, even though I have the requirement that they cannot suggest their own password i.e. they have to wait for an email back with the password. In my User list it is difficult to find which are phoney and which are genuine.
I am also getting a number of unwanted ads being posted by some of the phoney registrations but this is not so much of a problem as I have only to bin them before they go live.
The phoney registrations are getting a bit of a problem for me, I am getting dozens every day.
