User menu does not display anytime...

Hi all,

I have an issue with the user menu (menu that is displayed on the right top corner) : if I'm logged in as admin, it's ok the user menu displays well everywhere in my website.
But if I'm logged in as another role (actually no matter which role, all other role that is not admin), this user menu disappears almost everywhere...!

For exemple, as I logged in (e.g. as a contributor) I am automatically redirect to home page in which there is no user menu but the "not logged in user menu" instead (that means "connexion" or "subscription"). But then I go in one ad category page the menu appears again !
Do someone have already encountered this problem ? If yes, does that concern the theme itself or another plugin that could be in conflict ?

An another point about that user menu, where can I custom it ?? The only way I have found was to add code directly in the correspondant file, it seems problematic when new theme update comes out...
