    Footer credit removal

    I have edited this line in the theme-footer.php file in the includes folder but nothing is happening.

    <p><?php _e('Copyright &copy;','appthemes'); ?> <?php echo date('Y'); ?> | <a target="_blank" href="http://www.rebatetsleuth.com" title="Rebate Sleuth">Rebate Sleuth</a> | <?php _e('Powered by','Ignite'); ?> <a target="_blank" href="http://ignitewebsites.com/" title="Ignite">Ignite</a></p>
