Telephone instead of email notification

Hi, Jomark!

I need to allow users to register using either email or telephone. Currently you cant input anything but emails in the email field. I tried editing form-registration.php anf form-registration-main.php files like so:

Replacing
<input type="email"....

with
<input type="text"....

Im still getting the Please type your e-mail address error.
Please point me to what Im missing.
And If you are wondering why many people have been looking for this option is because emails are not commonly used in some countries. So you might suggest adding it to following builds.
