Transaction amount doesn't add up

HI,

Does paypal charge freelancer fees? We set up a dummy project valued at £50. After completion, the site received £5 (10%) but the dummy freelancer's paypal account only received £43.10. Where has the £1.9 gone? Has it been paid to Paypal?
