Thread: User with Editor role cannot access dashboard

User with Editor role cannot access dashboard

If I log on as an administrator I can access the dashboard. When I log on as a user with editor role/permissions and click on the dashboard, I get
"You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page" on the http://mywebsite/wp-admin/

I need the editor to access the dashboard. I cannot make every blog author or editor an admin of my web site.

Please ask your developer team what code needs to change in which file, I can do it myself but need to know where.
