Adding New Currency in JobRoller

Hello,

I want to add a new currency to JobRoller.
I followed the tutorial here: https://docs.appthemes.com/tutorials...-new-currency/

but all to no avail.

The tutorial is not explanatory enough!!!

*** Am I to add the code into the child theme or where?
*** Or am I to do it like a plugin?
