customized emails

Hi,

we're using jobroller theme v 1.8.5 and we need to customize some emails. Especially the variable "jr_counter_total" should be assigned to emails.php or where ever this will be evaluated.
The job submitter should get this informations when the job runs out.
I noticed that in April 2015 a customized email plugin was announced with "coming soon" - will this be released and when?
In the meantime can you tell me how the above variable can be integrated in the submitters email?
