    Static Page Vs Latest Posts?

    In WP Settings > Reading
    How can we make 'Latest Posts' be 'job posts' rather than blog posts without setting a static front page?
    The issue is that whenever we make a change to the 'home' page e.g Yoast SEO and then update the page, it overwrites and the homepage is gone!
