Using Indeed's JobRoll with JobRoller - Weird Results

Hi Folks,

Wondering if anyone else has run into these issues. I actually have two questions. The first is about Indeed's JobRoll and using it with JobRoller

I went to Indeed.com and got a publisher ID. Next, I went to Indeed.com and did a few test searches using keywords specific to my site which are Technical Education teacher jobs. I got the results I expected. I copied the keywords and went back to the Indeed publisher page and used JobRoll to get a script.

Next, I went to widgets and copied a text widget into the page sidebar. There I pasted the script that I got on JobRoll. Surprise! None of the jobs that came up yielded the same results that I got when I did a manual search on Indeed.com. In fact, last night I was getting jobs like Executive Chef! I double-checked the script that I copied into the text widget and sure enough, the query was for tech ed teachers. Wonder if anyone else has had the same issues and, if so, how they corrected them?

Second question: After many hours of frustration with JobRoll, I decided to delete the text widget and use the Indeed Integration that comes with JobRoller. My settings are:

Publisher ID: entered
Pull 10 Indeed jobs
Site type: All
Sort by: Relevance

And I put only 1 query in to test. It is “technology education teacher|us|full time” (no quotes)

No mappings
Styling: Job-featured
Show results on the front-page? Yes
Show results when browsing? No
Show results when searching: No
Results position: Before Caching
Frontpage Results Duration: 3600

I save the changes, refresh my home page, and no jobs appear. I would appreciate anyone that can point me to the error of my ways.

I’m using Wordpress 3.5.1 and JobRoller 1.6.5
