Adding an item to the form-listing.php

I would like to add a text field to the form-listing.php file so that under the section "Category" there is a new text field for "Suggest a Category" about 40 characters long. Where can I get the code, and how do I add the field to the DB?

Where do I change the number of images allowed for a free listing to 1 and for a paid listing to 4?
