The installation instructions for a vantage child theme specifically the code ....seem to differ slightly from the instructions found here....http://docs.appthemes.com/tutorials/...arted-styling/ and the examples child theme code on the style.css I downloaded from the vantage file.
I would like to make the following recommendation as getting the child theme up and running should be the very next step after the vantage theme installation
1) The child theme setup instructions to be updated if needed and to address the neccassary changes to the code possibly with an accompanying graphic for the visual and beggniner types so as to be easily and quickly changed. I have taken better part of the day ...and tried both steps and zero success
I have attached an image with 5 arrows that might help if answered even for the obvious ones
also question 5 on the image ....okay if you want to ad a background... but what about the theme colors ? Obviously it is an example file...but maybe just getting an updated thorough installation with 6-10 common changes would help get us going
Meanwhile if anyone cares to answer the 5 questions on the attached image...others can use this thread to save some time
PS #4 on the attached image ...i have 1.2.1 is that what it should have in that line ? the current version one is using ?
