Fatal Error conflict with Gravity Forms
Hello,
I have recently (possibly after an update?) started having problems with customers creating Listings on my website (
https://findaproofreader.com/create-listing/). After selecting their options and clicking
Continue users are redirected to the next page which apart from the header is blank.
Changing
WP-DEBUG to TRUE shows the following error message:
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare _wp_translate_postdata() (previously declared in /home/finda/public_html/
wp-admin/includes/post.php:20) in
/home/finda/public_html/wp-admin/includes/post.php on line
175
What we have done to troubleshoot the issue:
- Checked all plugins are updated
- Updated PHP on the server to 7.2.4
- Removed the Child Theme
- Disabled the each of the plugins to check for conflicts
Neither updates or removing the Child Theme fixed the problem, however disabling Gravity Forms allowed the Create Listing process to move onto the payment step. So I'm guessing that the issue is a conflict between Gravity Forms and the Vantage Theme.
Our installation consists of;
PHP: 7.2.4
WordPress: 4.9.5
Vantage Theme: VantageVersion: 3.0.4-dev-2016-01-07.0 [3d70ca3a0f]
Gravity Forms: 2.3.1
I'm a bit stuck with what to do next so any advice would be appreciated.
Kind regards
Nick Jones
