Hi,

Just wondering if somebody can answer this.

1 - Do i HAVE to verify my site w/google/bing etc to get on search engines?

2 - Wordpress support forums/tutorial tell me to sign into Google Webmaster tools and grab the meta file to add to my header doc. So I've copied that. Then they say to go to " the tools menu in my dashboard, and then the ‘Google Webmaster Tools’ field, just under the Webmaster Tools heading."

I don't see anything about google or bing verification under the tools panel where I am supposed to add this verification code to...can anybody help me out?
