Import Issues with displaying on front end

Im in the process of importing listings, I managed to import listings and custom fields. From the admin panel I can click a listing and see the custom fields in the custom forms section. If I view the same listing on the user side of the site Nothing shows up. If I go into the admin panel and change the imported fields and save them then they show up ... any idea whats going on?
