Language pack 1.2 for vantage 1.3

Hi,
Using vantage 1.3, I've downloaded the language pack fr_FR for vantage 1.2, put the files .po & .mo into languages folder (replacing old files), and nothing changes. My wp-config is well set on "define('WPLANG', 'fr_FR');"
No cache plug-in are installed. and I've cleared my cache.
Any Ideas ? is the pack compliant with the new release ?
