Listings found for "" near "" --> error only when child theme is activated

I have a standard Vantage theme installed.

When I click on the SEARCH BUTTON while both SEARCH FIELDS are blank, I see the correct message which is Listings found for "" near ""

However, when I activate the child theme, I get the following error:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function va_get_featured_listings() in /home3/ACCOUNT/public_html/FOLDER/wp-content/themes/vantage-child/archive-listing.php on line 11

Is there a RELATIVE PATH in either FUNCTIONS.PHP or the ARCHIVE-LISTINGS.PHP that needs to be changed.

The changes I made in STYLE.CSS are working as expected.
