Map Size & Scale and Refine Search Default Distance

Hello- 3 questions regarding the Vantage maps & the Refine Search functionality:

1) Size of Map- I'd like to change the size of the map on my listings page. It spans the entire width, but if possible, I'd like to have it only span the length of the middle area-- and not spread into the side widget.

2) Scale of Map- I'd like the map to default to a particular city. How do I do this?

3) Default Distance on Refine Search- It's currently extremely narrow. Where do I go to make adjustments to the refine search default settings? Can I adjust the default to start at say 20 miles?
