Permalink Is acting up - having issues

Hi everyone/Dimitris,

I'm running in to a couple of issues.

1 - I changed my permalinks form default to Post name. Regardless if it's set to default or postname, my category page doesn't appear. On my sidebar I have a category named Toronto (2). I have two listings under this category. When I click on it, I get the following error - Sorry there are no listings for category "Toronto". The URL is www.example.com/listings/category/toronto/

2 - Once this is resolved, I would like to change the slug and remove category. So all listings under the category Toronto will have a url of www.example.com/listings/toronto/

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
