Plugin recommendation to stop spammers

Greetings,

Getting a ton of spam auto registration sign ups and listings from spammers in india. I installed WP-spamshield and it stopped the auto registration sign ups but wont let anyone review my listings and has a java error? Does anyone know of a free captcha plugin where i can ask a simple question related to the site that only people living in my state of Arizona would know? My site is here
