Reduce white space on listing pages - How?

So, I was looking at someone else's sight and noticed that their listing pages don't have a huge white gap between the category list and the Favorite / Contact Owner buttons and the listings on my directory has a huge gap. Why? and how do I remove all that white space?

I reduced the social icons because people viewing the listings do not know to scroll down for more information. Now that I have seen someone else's site with the big white gap reduced I would really like to know how I can get my listings to look the same and peak more of the listing information below the social icons.
