Remove Vantage "powered by wordpress" logo at bottom of home page

Hi,

I've been trying to remove the logo/picture for vantage/powered by wordpress at the bottom of the homepage for a while-I've trawled through the forum and tried a few suggestions but haven't had any luck. I can't find the footer.php file in the editor, and when I go to webftp, although I can find the footer.php file (and have edited this-no changes showed), I can't find the 'themes-footer.php'
