Restoring Files After An Update. Does Anyone Know?
With anticipation of a theme update I'm thinking about what files/changes that I do....and what I don't have protected with the child theme...(ie: includes/template-tags.php).
I'm assuming that, by and large, the files that will change with the update will be portions of the core...files in the root of Vantage...but most files "like template-tags.php" will not be significantly changed, if they're changed at all.
So, if I don't have every single change protected within the child...it may be "fairly" safe to restore those few files that I have changed back with out any serious problems.
I'm assuming,but I don't know for sure
Does anyone know?
Has anyone had any reasonably reliable experience with this?
