SEO on Homepge

Hey guys!

For the past few weeks I've been trying to find my website on google, and its almost non existent. Before then I actually didn't bother searching for it on google. Even when I specifically search for it by name the site still it comes down at number 3 or 5. Obviously I need my webpage to be SEOptimized. At the moment I think the search engines are having a difficult time defining my site. This is mostly because it doesn't have the keywords it needs from the front page.

I've installed SEO by Yoast but still it doesn't address the issue of editing the "homepage" for vantage. I actually don't know where to edit and insert the key words that I need the search engines to look at. So my question to you guys is, where do I go to edit the title of the page? ad add keywords and meta descriptions to the front page (which is www.AmarYellowPages.com) there is not index or anything, and I happen to like it without those things.

In the settings panel or wordpress dashboard, I've named the title of the page and the description, however when I give "view page source" site title is "Home - Amar yellow pages" whereas I defined it as simply "Amar Yellow Pages".
