    Disable google maps?

    Hi

    I'm wondering if it's possible to remove/disable the google maps functionality of this theme so that the map is not visible when I search listings for example? Is there a way to remove it from the page template? I would like to remove the "Near" from the search form also.
    I am trying to build a listing service for musicians within a small country where location is not an issue.

    Any pointers would be great.
