Strange issue with login/register

Hi,

I'm having a really weird issue on my Hirebee install.

Ok, here's what I did so far.

I followed the instructions to create a full width page template because I don't need widgets on every page in the sidebar. That worked great.

I decided to change the assigned templates for the Login and Register pages to my newly created full width template. I just don't need sidebar widgets on those pages.

That's where it got strange. Now when I try to login or register I see the default /wp-login.php? or /wp-login.php?action=register screens. Very odd.

It gets stranger though.

Now when I login, the splash area images and Header Nav > Text widget is gone! It's still there in the admin backend but gone on the front end.

I'm totally stuck!

Can anyone please offer some help.
