User upload avtar image

I am trying to upload user avtar image at the time of edit profile give this error "You don't have permission to attach files to this post." If any one have idea about how to solve this issue, please let me know.
And i also add this feature at the time of registration. I put custom field for file upload and add code for file upload.i assign file field name "_app_gravatar" so when i click on register file upload successfully and then overweight theme default functionality and update user meta "_app_gravatar" with error.
