I hope you don't mind, but I've found something that I think could be improved on.

I've used the events grid at the top, then there are two sections below...

1 - Things to See and Do
2 - Places to Eat and Drink

Below that I've included another section which ideally I'd like to call "Featured Shops & Businesses".

The problem is that I don't want to include any of the listings in the #1 and #2 sections above in this section.

It seems that the only way I can do this at the moment is to select all of the categories I want to show, but I have 150 or so categories and there are two problems...

1 - If a listing isn't in a top level category and you choose the top level categories then nothing shows. It does in the normal Vantage listings, but not in the grid view. You need to select each of the sub-categories individually and that's a tedious job when you have so many categories to include.

2 - If I could choose top-level categories that would be okay, but a better solution would be if I was able to enter categories to ignore like -123,-456 etc. in the same way that WP works when you're telling it which categories to ignore.

Does that make sense?
