I did 2-3 tests applying to jobs on my theme, I didn't recieve the applicants email to say they have applied to a job.
It's crucial to have this, in order to update them about new job postings and keeping track of progress, something to boast about to future clients. Otherwise there's no way of knowing if anyone is actually applying for jobs.

Right now, when a user applies for a job, JobRoller sends the application to the job poster. JobRoller also sends a copy of the application to the person who applied for the job.

But we as the website owner/manager want to recieve applicants emails, for marketing purposes. For example sending out a weekly/monthly newsletter .. "this week we have 22,000 new job posting" etc.
Basically something to lure users back to your site and update them to their email inbox which is more convenient than for them to keep checking for new jobs.
