v1.2 request - Featured jobs on homepage and categories
Hi all,
I'd like to request that the features jobs function be expanded.
At the moment, a company can pay for their job to be displayed as a Featured Job on the homepage. Their job listing within a category is also slightly highlighted, but the featured job falls down the list as time goes on.
Might other people be interested in expanding this functionality, to help improve income possibility?
My thoughts:
Homepage featured jobs can be 5 featured jobs, rotated from all available
Each individual category can have 5 featured jobs above regular listing. This would ensure customers would get more exposure for their jobs (both in rotation on the main page, and fixed at the top of each category).
This would present the job board owner with a much higher income possibility - just think, if you had 20 categories, with 5 featured positions on each job category, the opportunity is there to sell 100 featured jobs per month whilst still offering a decent value for money.
